What do you do?

What do you do when a car is coming towards you after crashing with another car, while you are eating at a stall by the roadside. These few people are carrying together with them, the LAKSA and the DRINKS they are eating.. hahaha.....

> When a hawker and his two customers saw a car heading at full speed towards their stall, their first instinct was not only to save themselves but also the bowls of laksa that they were eating, reported Kosmo!.

A Proton Iswara crashed into the stall after colliding with a Nissan Sentra at the junction of Kampung Guar Jentik, Beseri, near Padang Besar, on Sunday.

In the 1.30pm incident, hawker Dahli Saad, 36, was making a bowl of iced shavings while the two customers were eating laksa.

“I heard a loud bang and saw a car spinning towards my stall.

“Without thinking, I screamed and ran, carrying with me the ladle I was using. My two customers also ran for their lives, taking with them the bowls of laksa and drinks that they were having,” he said.

Know your True Value!

Got this from e-mail. Meaningful. :)

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $500 note. In the room of 200 peoples, he asked, "Who would like this 500 $ note?"

Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this."

He proceeded to crumple the note up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the air. "Well," he replied, "What if I do this?"

And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

"Now who still wants it?"

Still the hands went into the air. "My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $500.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless.

But no matter what has happened or what will happen, never lose your value.

You are special. Don't ever forget it! Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

"VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED"

Caller : I'm Sam Wan (Someone). And I need to talk to Annie Wan (anyone)! It's urgent.

Operator : I know you are someone and you want to talk to anyone! But what's this urgent matter about?

Caller : Well... just tell my sister Annie Wan (anyone) that our brother Noel Wan (no one)has involved in an accident. Noel Wan (no one)got injured and now Noel Wan (no one) is being sent to the hospital. Right now, Avery Wan (everyone) is on his way to the hospital.

Caller : You are so rude! Who are you?

Operator : I'm Saw Lee (Sorry).

Jet Lag

Jet lag is the bane of all travellers but there are ways to lessen its effects.

Source: thestar.com.my

The world, which is a sphere, is divided up into 24 time zones. The basis for world time is the Greenwich meridian, which is an imaginary longitudinal line passing through Greenwich village in London. The time changes by an hour for every 15° travelled in either direction from the Greenwich meridian. When one goes westwards, one gains time; when one goes eastwards, one loses time.

Jet travel enables a person to travel long distances over several time zones. When one travels over at least more than three time zones, one may experience jet lag. The traveller’s body clock is disrupted as the body has to adjust to a new routine that is different from what the traveller is usually accustomed to. The body will need time to adjust to the time. In short, jet lag is a sleep disorder that occurs when the body’s biological clock does not correspond to local time.
